The Chef’s Round Table event took place in New York January 2007 at the Warwick Hotel. Gastronomy Festivals sponsored by CCN-World brought together famed culinary leaders in a round table discussion on New Culinary Trends. Great French and American critics, writers and publishers participated in a lively debate with leading chefs from New York.

CCN-World organized and facilitated a breakfast roundtable discussion in New York City on January 9, 2007 to review New Culinary Trends. French and USA top food critics, authors and publishers participated in a lively discussion together with the following famed New York Chefs:

Daniel Boulud of Daniel, DB Bistro, & Cafe Boulud
Jean-Georges Vongerichten of Jean-Georges, Spice Market & Perry Street
Eric Ripert of Le Bernardin
David Chang of Momofuku Noodle Bar
Michael Lomonaco of Poster House (formerly of Windows, WTC)
Yosuge Suga of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

The topics discussed included Molecular Gastronomy, New Cooking Techniques, Revenue Models & Partnering with Luxury Hospitality Groups, the Resurgence of Regional Food vs. the Health and Diet Movement, Food Guides & Internet, Gourmet Ethics vs. Gourmet Chic including the ban on Foie Gras in the USA and fair trade labeling models.
Other active participants included author and food critic Gael Greene of New York Magazine, CEO Tim Zagat and Nina Zagat of ZAGAT SURVEY, James Beard Award Winners Andrew Dornenburg and Karen Page of Becomingachef.com, Gilles Pudlowski of Le Point Magazine & Pudlowski Guide, among many others.
